The works follow one another like chapters in a journey around the world — London–Paris–Turin–Montréal — featuring two recurring figures: the dog and the young boy. They form the prelude to a broader series (The Doors) still in progress, conceived as views of cities seen through a keyhole, each represented by its own iconographic form.
The true protagonist of these illustrations is the city itself — with its history and past — while the characters express the emotions, fragilities, and perceptions that urban space can evoke.
